Anthem Cyber Breach
February 5, 2015As you may have heard, Anthem experienced a security breach on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, and the personal data of many of its members was stolen. At this point, Anthem is still assessing the extent of the theft, but the data stolen possibly included names, birthdays, social security numbers and email addresses.
If you have Anthem insurance, there’s no action required at this time. If your data was accessed, you will be receiving a notification from Anthem with additional information.
